3D scanning app a digital ear impression for each customer is defined which ensures
individual comfort and fit.
Astronauts can wear these hearables during space missions to monitor their vital signs
continuously. In the event of any health emergencies or critical situations, the hearable can
instantly transmit the data to the mission control center. This enables immediate medical
intervention and enhances the safety of astronauts during space exploration missions.
Voxel Sound provides a LoI of DLR in which the increasing demands for such innovative
and miniaturized sensory systems in the upcoming exploration era is addressed. In the LoI,
DLR expresses that such developments and products can support future human activities and
missions in Low Earth orbit and exploration destinations like the lunar gateway, Moon and
Mars.
