This study will examine how latency-sensitive routing techniques could be employed within a multi-orbit satcom architecture to optimise overall service delivery. The activity will determine the global proportion of latency-sensitive traffic and its likely future evolution; identify and consolidate solutions for automatic routing based on end-user latency requirements; and evaluate the impact that employing latency-sensitive routing strategies would have on the design and performance of the entire satellite communication system. The activity output will include the identification of the technology, product, and service developments needed to realise such a system.
