Sustainable solutions for the space sector are needed now more than ever. For the past 12 years ESA, EISC and now ESPI have given the Space for Sustainability Award to the most innovative ideas for sustainability in the space industry. Founded in 2012, the Space for Sustainability Award is a yearly competition that seeks to raise awareness and ideas about how space can contribute to the sustainable development of Europe and the world. The competition is open to any person between the ages of 18 and 30 that resides, studies or works in a EU or an ESA member state.
