Lutz Bertling, a member of the Executive Board at OHB Group, is responsible for Digitalisation at the OHB Group, one of Europe’s Large System Integrators in the Space Industry. He heads OHB´s Business Segment OHB DIGITAL. A part of his responsibilities, to drive Corporate Development, OHB Venture Capital became the investment arm of the OHB Group to foster cooperation with start-ups.
Before OHB Bertling was President and COO of Bombardier Transportation Group and previously President and CEO of Eurocopter Group, now Airbus Helicopters, and a Member of the Airbus Group Executive Committee. In his earlier career he held several management positions in the Aerospace and Rail Transportation Industries. He holds a PhD and a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Braunschweig.
