Agentic AI for Earth Observation Workshop
The Agentic AI for Earth Observation Workshop, organised by European Space Agency (ESA) and the BIFOLD – Berlin Institute for the Foundations of Learning and Data, will take place on 19–21 October 2026 in Berlin, Germany, and will convene researchers, practitioners, and decision-makers from artificial intelligence, geospatial analytics, climate and weather science, remote sensing, and space mission operations. It will provide a platform for exchange, discussion, and collaboration on the emerging role of agentic AI in Earth Observation (EO).
The workshop will feature oral presentations and poster sessions, interactive demos, and hands-on sessions, offering multiple opportunities to showcase work and engage with the community. The event is now inviting contributions from research and industry across three dedicated calls:
- Call for Abstracts – for oral and poster presentations presenting research, methodology and results.
- Call for Demos – for interactive demonstrations of tools, prototypes or applications, highlighting technical capabilities and user interaction.
- Call for Hands-on Sessions – for practice-oriented sessions where participants actively work with tools, datasets or workflows, guided by experienced instructors.
All submissions will be reviewed by the Organising Committee based on technical merit, relevance to agentic AI for Earth Observation (EO), and alignment with the workshop objectives. Contributions from both academia and industry are encouraged.
