Georg has been working for Porsche Consulting in aerospace practice for more than 8 years. Since becoming a project manager over 4 years ago, he has exclusively focused on the space industry. He has led projects from industrialisation of operations, strategy in legacy space companies and new space start-ups.
His work covers the entire space value chain. Inclusive of hardware design and manufacturing to service design and provisioning. He also focuses on enablers of space service models. This informs investors from venture capital firms and users within impacted industry verticals, such as agriculture and automotive.
To this end, the white paper “The Race to Space” was published in early 2023. The paper provides an outlook on the disruptive potential of the space industry. It details success factors for space companies and their services to achieve scale in a highly competitive industry. Georg has a PhD from the ETH in Zurich in the field of Industry 4.0.
