Cristina Ortiz Schousboe is graduated in Law and specialized in EU Law (Master and Doctorate). After 7 years serving in various EU Institutions (Court of Justice, Commission, ENISA), in 2008 she joined Fusion for Energy as Procurement officer.
With more than 15 years experience in public procurement, she was appointed in 2019 as Procurement Group Leader of a team of 14 staff members responsible to implement all procurement procedures and grants of the Joint Undertaking. The team is also responsible for delivering the trainings under their scope and the development of the internal rules (policies, process maps, guidelines, tools etc). At the moment, the team is focusing in three main projects: develop a more sustainable procurement, implement a Development Program towards innovation in Fusion energy and enhance SME participation in F4E procedures.
