European Launcher Challenge Industry Day

Prepare for the upcoming European Launcher Challenge
We are happy to announce the European Launcher Challenge (ELC) Industry Day on 8 November 2024 at ESTEC. The ELC25 Industry Day is a unique networking opportunity for new and established actors in space transportation to prepare for the upcoming European Launcher Challenge.
What is the European Launcher Challenge?
Europe is entering into a new era of diversified space transportation services, where established launch service providers will co-exist with new ones. In light of this, ESA Council decided on a number of measures on present and future European space transportation, which included the launch of a challenge among European space transportation services for offering best solutions to serving the institutional launch demand in the future.
European space transportation service initiatives will be called upon to demonstrate their ability to develop and fly a capacity to serve mission needs to access space in an incremental stepwise approach in terms of performance and capabilities. The winners of the ELC will benefit from ESA contracts for the demonstration of new capacities, as well as launch service procurements.
What is the ELC25 Industry Day objective?
You can now prepare for the ELC. Deploying the most competitive and adapted launch services for the future relies on a diverse European ecosystem where all interested and competitive European industries shall get a chance to contribute with their capabilities and capacities.
The event will bring together actors from across the whole value chain, including primes and suppliers covering both flight and ground segments, as well as key institutional stakeholders. The ELC Industry Day will provide the opportunity to inform about the ELC, to showcase innovative and competitive solutions, and to take part in B2B meetings.
