During the European Space Industry Space Days 2022 the ESA Commercialisation Department closed the 2021 series of Capacity Building Workshop for Fund Managers.
Episode 5 tackled the topic of access to space. The event was hosted in the iconic ESA Concurrent Design Facility (CDF), a state-of-the-art facility equipped with a network of computers, multimedia devices and software tools, which allows a team of experts from several disciplines to apply the concurrent engineering method to the design of future space missions.
The event opened with a keynote by Giorgio Tumino on the European Space Transportation rationale, programmes and activities.
