    SME + Midcap Days 2026

SMEs and midcaps from ESA Member States, Associate States and Cooperating States are now invited to register to attend the SME + Midcap Days 2026 in-person event, to take place 8–9 June 2026 at ESA Headquarters in Paris, France.

On day 1, ESA representatives will share updates and information with the industrial community and will open the floor for discussions. In addition, a meeting between SMEs and Midcaps is foreseen.

On day 2, the well-established annual SME and Midcap Fora will take place. The two fora are industry consultation processes during which industry participants are invited to share their views and give feedback about topics which affect their companies’ work with ESA and in the space sector in general. Consolidated comments and reactions provided will feed into the next ESA High Level Forum as well as future considerations about the activities and policies of the Agency.

SME Forum and Preparatory Consultation Meetings

An SME Forum occurs as part of the SME and Midcap Days on 8–9 June 2026 at ESA Headquarters in Paris, France. This is preceded by an online preparatory SME Forum in April and May.

To collect some first contributions and prepare the on-site SME Forum, ESA invites SMEs active in the space sector to contribute to the discussion by attending and actively engaging in a number of online preparatory meetings. These will take place on:

    • Tuesday, 21 April 2026 (online; 14:00 – 17:00 CET)
    • Thursday, 21 May 2026 (online; 14:00 – 17:00 CET)

The main points highlighted during the preparatory meetings will be gathered and then serve as inputs to kick-off the SME Forum, presented by one or more SME representatives in June.
