Safing provides two privacy protection tools: The Portmaster ensures that software applications only send data to trusted service providers and the Port17 Network ensures that the sent data is safe and private. While active, all traffic is routed through the secure network, which protects Internet traffic and makes it private, including metadata. In order to ensure that the Port17 Network can deliver its full potential it is vital to detect changes in the system early on, to understand correlations between incidents, as well as to gain a big picture of the current system health.
