RobCo
Robots for medium-sized manufacturing companies are currently expensive, complex to integrate
and commission, and inflexible. Existing systems are described by their
degrees of freedom, reach, precision and load-bearing capacity and can only be used within the
resulting solution framework. The robots are regularly commissioned
by system integrators who select the robots, purchase peripherals, program
, calibrate and train them. Knowledge about the application therefore flows from the
customer, which is a major problem in the industry in addition to the issues mentioned above.
