DESCRIPTION
The concept revolves around a mission control and flight dynamics dashboard called “nCon”. This system is designed to enable operators to control satellites efficiently and identify and resolve issues affecting spacecrafts by employing a highly customizable widget-based UI (User Interface) which is highly adaptable based on mission criteria and user preferences. These features are required to support a growing and evermore diverse satellite control operation.
Operators will be able to easily customize each dashboard to their and mission-specific requirements. Instead of a rebuild in-house, changes can now just be made by mouseclicks. Furthermore, a plugin-based solution to enable the use of the most common event-streaming-pipelines is part of the project.
The idea is primarily suited for MCC (Mission Control Center) operations, but the benefits extend to other domains as industrial operations.
