DESCRIPTION
Intelligent Implants is developing SmartFuse, the worlds first connected wireless implant that stimulate, control and monitor bonegrowth. Innovative countermeasures are necessary for the bone health of astronauts on future missions. The Early Detection of Osteoporosisin Space and the Proxima mission experiment have determined the changes in cosmonaut’s bone structure in space. Our plan is to assess the feasibility of using electromagnetic signalling in space to solve this problem.
