DESCRIPTION
AllSpace's mission is to inspire and motivate generations of all age to gain confidence and expertise in operating real space technology, creating a large think tank that brings innovative new ideas into space industry. With the aim of democratizing access to space for education, training, and practical applications, is developing rover platforms. Initially focused on the academic and NewSpace sectors, AllSpace offers fully functional open-source rover systems that can be modified, extended, and operated. The key value of these rover systems is that they are in fact "CubeSats on wheels". They used components are (to large extend) identical with those used for satellites. They use CCSDS/ECSS space communication protocols and space standards for the on-board flight software and external communication. This way, users can train and deploy operations of the rover in the same way as they would for a satellite mission.
In essence, the rovers can be operated much like modern ESA satellites, utilizing CFDP file transfer, PUS packet service, PLUTO for automation, and more.
