Get listed by ESA as one of the most promising young space companies in Europe: the ESA Rising Stars Competition is open!
The ESA Rising Stars initiative, led by the ESA commercialisation department, aims at listing the most promising European space start-ups and scale-ups in ESA’s ecosystem.
The selection criteria are based on the credibility of the business plan, the leverage and socio-economic impact of the activity funded by ESA, and the alignment with ESA’s strategic objectives.
Being listed among ESA Rising Stars for 2023 is an opportunity for companies to increase awareness of their activities towards space professionals, the general public and the investment community. The laureates will be granted a facilitated access to the teams in ESA’s commercialisation department, to increase cooperation in domains such as matchmaking with investors, participation to events, accommodation on an ESA booth during global conferences, invitation to matchmaking and networking sessions, sharing of media opportunities, etc.
To be eligible, a company must in particular:
- Work or have recently worked with ESA, in an ESA BIC, within InCubed, ARTES BASS, Call for Commercial Partnerships, Space Safety Programme, Discovery, Boost!, ARTES Core Competitiveness, Future Launchers Preparatory Programme, or ESA’s BSGN Industry Accelerators.
- Having not worked with ESA in 2018 or before
