The Call for Φdeas and its goals
Call for Φdeas is a call for ideas holding the potential for transformative innovation in Earth Observation (EO) sponsored by the ESA Φ-lab.
The impact can be in any of science (e.g., Earth Science, green-tech, climate-tech, sustainability), institutions, NGOs or commercial sector.
The selected ideas could be used to populate future ESA Φ-lab’s workplan or as input to programme (e.g. FutureEO, InCubed). Ideas not adopted by the ESA Φ-lab could be used to populate other ESA workplans. After adoption of the idea, an implementation path will be explored and selected (direct negotiation, open competition, other ESA opportunities, etc..), which typically require few months after the idea selection.
