The Directorate of Operations (OPS) is responsible for Mission Operations and Ground Segment Engineering for space missions. To achieve these goals, OPS relies upon industrial services and procurement of deliverables for ground segment systems. These Services are intended to be procured via three separate Invitations to Tender: 

  • Competitive Frame Contracts for Ground Segment Engineering, Mission Operations and Engineering Support Services to Space Traffic (GOFX)
  • Flight Dynamics and Precise Navigation Support Services (standalone Contracts)
  • Flight Operations Engineering Services (standalone Contracts)

The Agency organises an Industry Day to provide an overview on the intended above-described Procurements followed by a Question & Answer session.

We encourage you to raise any question you may wish to address at the Industry Day upfront by sending an email to Mrs. Sabine Röttger (email: Sabine.Roettger@esa.int) with copy to Ms. Melissa Merdanovic (email: Melissa.Merdanovic@ext.esa.int) by 17th January 2025 COB.

The Industry Day will be held in English.

There will also be the possibility to connect online via WEBEX. Your registration should indicate whether you will attend in person or online. An email with the connection instructions will be sent to the registered online participants prior to the event.

On-site visitors must have a valid ID/Passport and shall present it at the ESOC Gate. Without a valid ID/Passport, access to the ESOC site cannot be granted. Additionally, please note that Tenderers are responsible for arranging and covering the costs of their own travel to the ESOC site for the Industry Day, as the Agency will not provide transportation or bear any associated expenses.
