Clean Spectrum: Driving Innovation and Growth

ESA Connectivity & Secure Communications is hosting the event “Clean Spectrum: Driving Innovation and Growth” on 27 November 2024, at ESA HQ, Paris, France, from 14:00 to 18:00 CET.
This event will delve into ESA’s CleanWaves initiative, which aims to mature industry capabilities for optimising spectrum usage and preserving it from harmful interference.
Participants will engage with experts on topics such as secure satellite communications, innovative connectivity solutions, and their applications in monitoring and protecting marine environments.
The programme
The event will explore the role of interference-free radio spectrum in the digital economy, highlighting its significance for connectivity infrastructure investments and the provision of essential services. It will address the growing demand for spectrum due to the transition from wireline to wireless communications and the launch of multiple LEO constellations. Additionally, the conference will present the advancing capabilities in spectrum optimisation and tackle the challenges of spectrum occupancy and interference.
