    Declan Kelleher

    “Declan is an Irish Civil Engineer with a specialization in renewable energy and energy management. His career has spanned a variety of sectors, reflecting his diverse skill set and commitment to sustainability. Declan has engaged in green financing projects, implemented ISO 50001 energy audits, overseen demolition and asbestos removal projects, contributed to the regulation of radioactive waste transport on nuclear power plants, and participated in the design of geothermal projects and flood protection systems. His work in hydropower projects further exemplifies his dedication to renewable energy sources.

     

    At Gruner Stucky Ltd, Declan initially joined the team as a Business Development Manager,  where he notably formed the initial partnership with EOMAP for the Horizon 2020 funded HYPOS project. This innovative hydrospatial support tool for sediment management leverages Earth observation data calibrated with a up to date hydrological model and in-situ data.

     

    Evolving within the organization, Declan now serves as the Head of Innovation & Technology for the Energy domain at Gruner, where he explores emerging technologies and pilots the integration of these advancements into the company’s operational workflows, ensuring Gruner remains at the cutting edge of engineering consultancy services.”
