The ESA Rising Stars initiative, led by the ESA Commercialisation Directorate, aims to identify the most promising European space start-ups and scale-ups within its ecosystem
Now in its third edition, ESA is proud to announce the 2025 Rising Stars. These selected companies stand out for bringing forward innovative technologies and business models that are strengthening Europe’s space sector. Each of them has benefited from ESA technology or commercial development programmes over the past 18 months.
The ESA Rising Stars represent the new wave of players driving growth, addressing key challenges, and demonstrating the vibrant potential of the European space industry.
Being recognised as an ESA Rising Star 2025 offers companies heightened visibility among space professionals, the wider public, and the investment community. Laureates will benefit from facilitated access to the ESA Commercialisation Services team, enabling enhanced cooperation in areas such as investor matchmaking, participation in ESA-supported events, representation at international conferences, and invitations to targeted networking sessions. They will also gain opportunities for increased media exposure.
