{"id":17079,"date":"2026-09-07T09:37:49","date_gmt":"2026-09-07T07:37:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/commercialisation.esa.int\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=17079"},"modified":"2026-09-08T09:04:55","modified_gmt":"2026-09-08T07:04:55","slug":"5g-emerge-workshop","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/commercialisation.esa.int\/?tribe_events=5g-emerge-workshop","title":{"rendered":"5G-EMERGE workshop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>European Space Agency (ESA),<\/strong> the <strong>European Broadcasting Union (EBU)<\/strong> and the <strong>5G-EMERGE partnership project<\/strong> invite stakeholders from across the satellite, telecommunications and audiovisual sectors to join the <strong>5G-EMERGE Workshop: Satellite and 5G Integration for Media Delivery <\/strong>on <strong>6 October 2026<\/strong> at <strong>ESA Headquarters in Paris<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h2>The workshop<\/h2>\n<p>The workshop will showcase the results achieved across the first two phases of 5G-EMERGE, including technology developments, field-testing outcomes and demonstrations illustrating how satellite, terrestrial and 5G networks can work together to support media delivery and connectivity services.<\/p>\n<p>Over two project phases, 5G-EMERGE has developed and tested solutions that combine satellite, terrestrial and 5G-enabled networks into a unified system for audiovisual content distribution and connectivity services.
