35 Years of Technology Transfer: ESA’s Innovations for Earth

Each year, ESA’s cutting-edge technologies developed for space missions find new applications on Earth, benefiting daily life.

At the 50th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva, ESA showcased its innovations, including patented technologies and success stories like the OMEGA SA Speedmaster X-33 Skywalker and the Speedmaster X-33 Marstimer watches, which incorporate advanced technologies developed by ESA, and Terraplasma Medical’s cold plasma treatment for wounds, initially supported by ESA Business Incubation Centre Bavaria.
