ESA BIC Lazio alumnus Titan4 has successfully closed a €4 million Series A funding round, led by CDP Venture Capital SGR through the Infratech compartment of its Corporate Partners I fund, with the participation of Vertis SGR via the Vertis Venture 6 Digital Sud fund, co-financed by the European Union under Next Generation EU.
Founded in Rome Italy, Titan4 develops advanced Earth Intelligence solutions that combine satellite data, ground-based sensors, and artificial intelligence to enable predictive monitoring of critical infrastructure such as roads, bridges, railways, dams, and energy networks.
The company’s mission is to help infrastructure operators and public authorities anticipate risks, enhance safety, and optimise maintenance and investment decisions. By integrating multi-source data, from multi-band radar satellites (InSAR) to optical imagery, IoT sensors, and climate indicators, Titan4’s platform delivers actionable intelligence to support sustainable asset management and territorial resilience.
Titan4 was among the startups supported by ESA BIC Lazio, the Business Incubation Centre managed by Lazio Innova. During its incubation period, the company received technical mentoring, business support, and access to ESA expertise, which helped transform its vision into a scalable technological platform now attracting major institutional investors.
The new funding will support Titan4’s growth and international expansion, reinforcing its R&D capacity and consolidating its position as a deep tech player in the field of infrastructure safety and Earth observation applications.
With this achievement, Titan4 exemplifies the impact of the ESA BIC programme in fostering European innovation and strengthening the downstream space economy, transforming space data and technologies into real-world solutions that make societies safer and more resilient.
